    Appendix C Sample SOP - Voltage and Current Diagnostic Measurements. 11.0 Low-Voltage Phase Rotation Checks

    "7. If possible, deenergize the circuit or equipment before connecting the phase rotation meter leads. Attach the leads of the phase rotation meter to the exposed energized conductors. 8. Press the meter's actuating button, check for proper phase rotation, and release. 9. If possible, deenergize the circuit or equipment before disconnecting the phase rotation meter leads. Remove the leads."
